The New SLC is a $5.1 billion rebuild that replaced the old five-concourse airport with one central terminal and two linear concourses, A and B, linked by tunnels.
Phase 4 opens on October 27, 2026 with seven more gates and six new concessions. Four gates opened on July 14, 2026.
Main airlines: Delta is the largest carrier at SLC and runs its hub here. United operates the new Phase 4 gates, and many domestic and low-cost airlines serve the airport.

Opened in 2020 and expanded in 2023. It has a Delta Sky Club near the Starbucks, a USO lounge and the River Tunnel connection to Concourse B.
Opened in October 2020 and expanded in 2024 and 2025. It has a Delta Sky Club, the American Express Centurion Lounge near gate B31, and the Phase 4 gates that open on October 27.
Concourse A and Concourse B are connected by two passenger tunnels, the Mid-Concourse Tunnel and the River Tunnel, with moving walkways and elevators. The concourses are long, so allow extra time when your gate is at the far end of the other concourse.
Light rail at ground level, connecting the airport with downtown Salt Lake City. It runs about every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 20 minutes on weekends. Fares start at $2.50. The first weekday train leaves at 5:42 a.m. and the last at 11:27 p.m.
Free shuttles run from the economy lots to the terminal. The blue lot has shuttle stops 1 to 5, and the red lot has stops 6 to 8.
Uber and Lyft have designated curbside access in the B lane on the ground level. Taxi and limo operators have ground transportation desks on the first floor.
Take the TRAX Green Line from the ground level of the terminal. Fares start at $2.50, and the trains run every 15 minutes on weekdays.
The economy lot costs about $14 per 24 hours and has free shuttles. The attached garage costs about $45 per day, and reserved covered parking is about $65.
Four gates opened on July 14, 2026. The final seven gates and six concessions open on October 27, 2026, and United will operate most of the new gates.
