Las Vegas, Nevada KLAS #8 US airport by passengers
About 5 miles south of the Las Vegas Strip, at the southern end of the Las Vegas Valley.
Harry Reid International (named in 2021, formerly McCarran) is two terminals: Terminal 1 for most domestic flying and Terminal 3 for international and a mix of airlines. Slot machines are in the gate areas, which tells you what kind of airport this is.
Because the airport is so close to the Strip, getting there is quick. The tradeoff is predictable crowding: Sunday afternoon and evening can be very busy as visitors head home.
Main airlines: Southwest Airlines is the largest carrier. Spirit, Frontier, Delta, United, American and Allegiant also fly many routes, and Terminal 3 hosts most international flights.
The FAA is not reporting a ground stop, ground delay program or other delay at LAS right now.

Concourse E and international arrivals. Many international airlines and some domestic carriers use it.
The two terminals are separate buildings. A free shuttle bus runs between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 outside security. Inside Terminal 1, a tram connects the main terminal with the D gates.
App-based rides pick up from designated areas, usually in the parking garage, not at the curb. Follow the signs after baggage claim.
Metered taxis queue outside each terminal. Fares from the airport to the Strip are typically modest because of the short distance.
The regional transit authority operates bus service from the airport to the Strip and downtown.
Some resorts and shared shuttle services operate from the airport.
