Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport is a single two-level terminal with a linear layout that is easy to walk. Ground transportation and baggage claim are on the lower level, while ticketing, security and gates are upstairs.
A $140 to $180 million East Terminal Expansion is underway. Construction is temporarily reducing the number of gates from 12 to 10, and passengers should expect some changes to the curb and ground transportation areas.

Bozeman Yellowstone is a single terminal, so there is no transfer between buildings. Elevators, escalators and stairs connect the lower and upper levels.
The major rental car agencies, including Enterprise, Hertz, Avis, Budget, National and Alamo, have counters across from baggage claim on the lower level. A four-level rental car garage sits near the terminal.
Several shuttle companies serve Big Sky, Yellowstone and other regional destinations, including Big Sky Shuttle. Karst Stage runs a seasonal shuttle to Big Sky Resort. Book in advance.
Taxis and rideshare are on the lower level. The passenger arrivals curb now runs the full length of the terminal and has about three times the capacity of the old curb.
The nearest bus stop is about two miles from the terminal in Belgrade. Travelers relying on public transit should plan a taxi or rideshare for the last leg.
The east end was reconfigured for buses, shuttles and private operators, with added bus parking and a covered awning planned for the future.
Big Sky Shuttle and other operators serve Big Sky from the airport, and Karst Stage runs a seasonal shuttle. Book in advance, since schedules change with the season.
