About 5 miles east of downtown Austin, Texas, off Presidential Boulevard. The airport is owned by the City of Austin.
Austin-Bergstrom has one passenger terminal, the Barbara Jordan Terminal. The old South Terminal closed on March 31, 2026, and Allegiant and Frontier now check in and board at the main terminal.
The airport is in the middle of a long expansion program called Journey With AUS, with a new Concourse B planned for the 2030s. Parking has two garages and an economy lot, and the economy lot has a complimentary shuttle to the terminal.
Main airlines: Southwest, United, American, Delta, Alaska, Allegiant and Frontier serve Austin. Southwest, Delta, United, American and Alaska signed the airport's 2026 use and lease agreements. Allegiant and Frontier moved to the main terminal on April 1, 2026.

A new Concourse B with 26 gates is part of the expansion program. Southwest is the anchor tenant with 18 gates, United has 5, and 3 are for common use. The lease agreements are signed, but the new concourse is not yet open.
You do not change terminals. Allegiant and Frontier now use the Barbara Jordan Terminal, so the separate shuttle between the old South Terminal and the main terminal no longer applies.
Complimentary shuttle between the Economy lots and the terminal. On your return, the shuttle pick-up is on the lower level across from baggage claim.
Rideshare and taxis use the curb on the departures level. The airport's ground transportation information lists the current pick-up points.
Take Spirit of Texas Drive to the rental-car lane, as the airport directs.

Economy is $14 per day, the Red Garage is $7 per hour up to $35 per day, and the Blue Garage is $5 per hour up to $26 per day. Valet is currently closed.

Yes. Delta Sky Club, American Admirals Club and United Club all operate at the airport. Access depends on your ticket, status or membership. There is no Centurion Lounge.
The Blue Garage exit closes nightly from 1 a.m. to 8 a.m. starting October 23, 2026. Use Level 1 to the South Plaza during those hours.
