About 10 miles southeast of downtown Orlando and roughly 20 miles from the main Walt Disney World resort area.
Orlando International is built around a main terminal where you check in, claim bags and take people movers to separate buildings called airsides. A newer building, Terminal C, opened in 2022 on the south side and has its own airline gates and ground transport.
The busy part of the year is spring break, summer and the holiday weeks, when the airport is full of families. Plan to arrive earlier than you might at a business airport.
