How delays work at DJT

A ground stop holds flights bound for DJT at their origin airports. A ground delay program spaces arrivals out so the airport is not overloaded. Departure and arrival delay messages describe the average wait the FAA expects. None of these tell you whether your own flight is late, so always check your airline as well.

Local tips

  • The airport does not offer luggage storage or lockers. For a place to store your bags, the Drive Shack next to the airport provides complimentary bag check for diners and players.
  • If you need to walk a ticketed passenger to the gate, you need an airline-issued gate pass. Contact the airline directly, since airport staff cannot issue them.
  • Use the Escape Lounge to wait out a long layover, since it is the only passenger lounge at the airport.
  • The airport has a name change, so search for DJT or West Palm Beach when booking flights and rides.
