Checkpoints and tips
Security is at each of the four airsides, not in the Main Terminal. Only ticketed passengers are allowed past the entrances to the airside shuttles.
- Per the airport, checkpoints currently open at about 3:30 a.m. for A, C and E (eGates a little earlier) and 4:00 a.m. for F.
- TSA PreCheck is available at all four airsides.
- CLEAR+ lanes and automated eGates were approved for all four airsides, with the contract expected to start October 1, 2026. Check the airport website to see if they have launched.
- The airport says peak times are usually 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and around holidays, and suggests allowing about 20 minutes off-peak and 45 minutes at peak.
- Airside E has a new seven-lane checkpoint that opened in March 2025.
