Checkpoints and tips
Each terminal has its own TSA checkpoint. The airport says checkpoints generally open at 4:00 a.m. and close at 12:30 a.m., depending on flight schedules.
- TSA PreCheck and CLEAR are offered. In Terminal B, the CLEAR enrollment point is by the entrance to the people mover. Hours posted by third parties differ, so check with CLEAR or the airport before relying on them.
- Both checkpoints have Priority Lanes. All airlines take part, and each sets its own eligibility rules.
- In Terminal B you reach the checkpoint by riding the people mover from Level 3, so allow a few extra minutes.
- Items left at a checkpoint can be reported to TSA lost and found at smf.lost@tsa.dhs.gov.
