Where to park at BHM

The airport has a parking deck next to the terminal, an Economy Lot with continuous shuttles, and a free cell phone waiting lot. Cash and credit cards are accepted.

• Parking deck

  Hourly and daily parking close to the terminal. The rental car facility is on the deck's ground floor. Reserved parking is also available 24 hours a day.

• Economy Lot

  The lot is on Messer Airport Highway. Shuttles run continuously, 24 hours a day, between the lot and the terminal. It is for longer stays.

• Airline Drive lot

  A lot near the terminal area, reached by turning right off Messer Airport Highway onto University Avenue, then left onto Airline Drive.

• Cell Phone Waiting Lot

  A free waiting lot with a digital flight display for drivers picking up arriving passengers.

• When picking up passengers, drivers must stay with their vehicle at the curb. For longer waits, use hourly parking or the cell phone lot.
• Turo has an authorized area in the Economy Lot and the parking deck, and it can hand off cars in person at the curb.
• The airport is modernizing its parking, including a planned parking guidance system, so check the current layout on the airport website.
