    Licensed taxis

    Taxi stands are outside the terminal doors, past baggage claim. Fares are set by the Virgin Islands Taxicab Commission, charged per person, and listed on a rate card displayed in each taxi. Official taxis have a dome light and "TP" on the license plate. The taxi association can be reached at 340-774-4550.

    Shared multi-destination vans

    Most taxis are shared vans that carry 8 to 12 passengers, and these are the only vans that serve the airport, according to the Port Authority.

  • Pickup

    Collect arriving passengers on the front sidewalk of the Dale A. Gregory Transportation Center, using the marked crosswalk. Stopping on the road outside baggage claim is not allowed.

    No Uber or Lyft

    Uber and Lyft do not operate on St. Thomas. Ground transport is licensed taxis, shared vans, rental cars and pre-booked private transfers.

    Car rental desks are inside the terminal, according to the airport terminal guide. The Port Authority also lists rental car operations on Level 1 of the Transportation Center, so confirm your company's location.
