Where to park at PIT

The new terminal came with a parking garage and lot totaling more than 6,000 spaces close to the building, plus a large shuttle lot. All rates exclude 11.5% tax. Prebooking at ParkAtPIT.com at least 7 days ahead gives the lower "as low as" rates, and the airport lists PIT Executive only by reservation.

  • Terminal Garage

About a 3 to 5 minute walk to the terminal, and the highest-priced lot. Drive-up is $38 per day, or $28 prebooked. Short stays are $8 up to 30 minutes, $12 up to 1 hour and $18 up to 2 hours, then the daily rate. It has 33 free Level 1 EV charging spaces, subject to availability.

  • Terminal Lot

A surface lot with 2,863 spaces, 50 of them accessible, about a 3 to 5 minute walk to the terminal. Drive-up is $28 per day, or $18 prebooked. Up to 2 hours costs $15, then the daily rate applies.

  • Shuttle Lot

The lowest-priced lot, with about 8,000 spaces across the campus. Drive-up is $12 per day, or $8 prebooked 7 or more days ahead. Up to 2 hours is $5 and up to 3 hours is $10. A 24-hour shuttle picks up at five heated shelters about every ten minutes, and the ride takes under ten minutes. You cannot walk from this lot to the terminal.

  • PIT Executive

A reservation-only premium option from $35 per day, with no drive-up availability. It is about a 3 to 5 minute walk to the terminal.

  • Free Wait Lot

For people picking up travelers. The first hour is free, then $5 up to 2 hours, $10 up to 4 hours, and the $12 daily rate after that. It is a holding lot only, with no terminal access, so meet arriving passengers at the arrivals curb by baggage claim.

  • The Shuttle Lot shuttle picks up and drops off on the arrivals level by Door 5, outside baggage claim.
  • If you are used to the old terminal, note that the roads to it are closed and signage now points to the new building.
  • Prebooking is the cheapest way to park. The Shuttle Lot saves the most money for trips of a week or more, while the Terminal Lot is the best value for a short walk.
