How delays work at OKC

A ground stop holds flights bound for OKC at their origin airports. A ground delay program spaces arrivals out so the airport is not overloaded. Local tips

  • Check your gate. The gate list is divided by concourse, and the airport notes that Allegiant and Frontier gate and baggage claim assignments are subject to change.
  • Do not wait at the curb. The airport has a free waiting area on Terminal Drive, and the hourly garage is $2 per hour.
  • There is no Delta Sky Club or other airline club at OKC. American also lists clubs and lounges as unavailable at the airport.
  • A YMCA Military Welcome Center is on the second level before security, between the Delta and Southwest counters, next to the Osage Room.
  • Expect some floor work in the terminal during the coming construction period. The airport plans to start with the second-level airside area.
